Our goals as No-Burn® Technology are to bring safety to the community as a whole. We do this by means of prevention, awareness and actively being involved in the community. We are a family-oriented company, recognizing the value of life, property and peace of mind. MANAGEMENT
Delbert “Bud” Bishop, Eastern Division, has been in the construction business for over 30 years. In 1964 he started in the construction field as a framer and cut-man. In 1969 he became a professional firefighter working in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. While working as a firefighter, he started his own construction business.
In 1987 he was Vice President of a franchise, Paul Davis Systems® of Hampton Roads, Inc. He began working closely with insurance companies, specializing in water damage and fire restoration. He has seen the devastation caused by fires in homes and businesses.
In 1997 he left Paul Davis Systems® of Hampton Roads, Inc. and started his own business, Bishop Renovation & Builders®, Inc. He holds a Class A Contractors License, and has a broad knowledge of building codes. He is a member of Tidewater Builders Association, Builders & Contractors Exchange, and the National Association of Home Builders.
Jerry Bishop is owner/operator/VP of No Burn® Technology Inc. Western Division.
Jerry Bishop has over 45 years in the Information Technology Business and over 35 years in the Building industry as a home builder in the Colorado Springs and San Luis Valley area. He got into the No Burn® Business over five years ago when his brother Bud a firefighter himself told him about this product called No Burn®, after looking into it he found that it was even better then any of us ever thought. Wanting to help our seniors, youths and the community when fire strikes without warning, he got into the business.
He has lived in CO. all his life; he is a member of the Palmer High Alumni and is a Board of Director’s member of the El Paso County Pioneers’ Association, Inc.
He had a real life experience when friends of his family had three members of their family of four lose their lives in a house trailer fire in Hooper CO. in the San Luis Valley in the 1970’s and now knows that no one has to suffer this kind of loss ever again by simply using No Burn® as a fire retardant in their home.
Curt “Bubba” Bishop, Western division, Owner/Director of Operations/Webmaster. Curt plays an intricate role in the development of No-Burn® Technology. He has 27 years of experience in the construction field combined with 20 years experience in the communication field. His knowledge of ASTM, NFPA, ULC, IEBC, IBC, IRC, IFC, and WUI allows No-Burn® Technology to keep the public informed and educated on an ever growing problem of fire danger. His dad, Jerry, introduced him to No-Burn®, and since then he has taken it on the run. Having lost friends of the family to fire, has made him want to educate everyone about the outstanding performance of No-Burn® and want to change the laws to have every structure protected by No-Burn® to help save many lives.
Sharon Weitzel, Eastern Division, started working in the fire restoration business over 10 years ago. She started her company, Combination Services in 1989. Working with insurance companies and homeowners, Combination Services was one of the first companies contacted after a fire. Their specialty included pack-outs and cleaning.
In 2000, Sharon began working for Bishop Renovation & Builders®, Inc. as Office Manager. As a burn victim herself, she is thrilled with the products offered by No Burn®, Inc.
